2017 Summer Teacher PD Workshop Information

We are very excited to welcome capital region teachers to the RPI campus next week! Our teacher professional development workshop is scheduled for Monday, 7/17 through Thursday 7/20.

Getting to the RPI campus:

From the South:

Take I-87, the New York State Thruway, North to Exit 23. At Exit 23, get on I-787 North to Route 7 East.

From the North:

Take I-87, the Adirondack Northway, South to Exit 7 East. Get on Route 7 headed Eastbound.

From the East:

From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike, Berkshire Spur of the New York Thruway), take Exit B1. Continue East (13.5 miles) to the exit for I-787. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East.

From the West:

Take I-90, the New York State Thruway, to Exit 24. From Exit 24, continue onto I-90 East. Exit onto I-787 North. Take I-787 North to Route 7 East.

Parking:

Once you have arrived at the end of the highway section of Route 7, turn right onto 8th Street. Follow 8th Street to the first stop light and turn left onto Peoples Ave. Look for the event parking sign that says “C-STEM” and turn right. Continue through the parking barricade that should be up, you are now in the North Lot parking lot. Try to park at the right end of North Lot in the ‘yellow’ parking area. (Please do not park in the ‘green’ parking spaces). To the right of the brick buildings that border North Lot, you will find a staircase that goes down and across Sage Ave.

You will find a C-STEM representative with parking passes. Please get a parking pass and set it in your car on the dashboard.

After placing your parking permit on your dashboard, return to the stairs, cross the street (this is Sage Ave.), up the stairs next to the Troy building and you will see another C-STEM direction board. Follow the arrow to the Sage building (straight ahead) and enter the building. You should immediately see the registration table to check in.
